The Nude Athletes

by Reena Daruwalla, guest writer for Nancy Hayssen.com

Now what this tells us is that this magazine, clearly a men’s magazine, has been at its’ most popular when it has featured real women and real looking women: Monroe was wonderfully curvy and womanly, Witt is an athlete with a beautiful, well defined musculature which is also something that is extremely attractive.

Wiki defines eating disorders as “a compulsion to eat, or avoid eating, that negatively affects both one’s physical and mental health.” There are an estimated 5 to 7 % females in the United Stated who suffer from either Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa. The Kurti: Demure or Daring?

by Reena Daruwalla, guest writer for Nancy Hayssen.com

If I were to pick the one item in my wardrobe that is most comfortable, most flattering, most versatile, then I would pick the kurta or the kurti (the shorter, hip length version). I suppose the western equivalent of that would be a tunic. Now a kurta can be as form fitting or as loose as you want or it could just skim your curves, for a tantalizing hint of what is beneath. The length can vary from barely hip length to reaching up to mid calf length. This is the other Indian garment (other than the sari) that a unique appeal. Continue Reading…
