Meet Pax Beale a 77 yr. old Body Builder & Author of “Body for the Ages!”

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I had an unexpected encounter with a unique man who I had never heard of and now will never forget.

When entering the waiting room in the Trinity Building in NYC getting ready to go on one of the largest syndicated national radio shows in the country (WOR Radio 710 HD - with Joey Reynolds) last night…

I walked into this room to befriend a man that totally inspired and lifted my spirits on a Friday night when I was so exhausted and tired and would have rather been home.

“I’m seventy-seven years old and feel fantastic!” this man on the couch next to me enthusiastically said to me.

I passionately yelled out “I just want to know where you got those WILD LEOPARD SKIN TIGHT STRETCH PANTS! They’re to die for!!” I stood there laughing hysterically wondering what on Earth this guy was here for.

pax-and-nancy.jpg

So, what’s your story?

His name was Pax- another unique element to add to his pants AND his personality!

He told me he was promoting his book and his message of healthy living no matter what age you are. When he asked why I was to be on radio I said … “well funny enough we have a similar message. Mine is to inspire women to look and feel sexy at any size!”

We then realized we were to go on air together that night:

the 77 year old Body Builder and the Plus Size Model…

what a combo!

I asked him if he was a “fire sign” (being that I’m into astrology and can feel peoples signs).. and he said “Well, I’m a Sagitarrius whatever that means!” I said “You’re FIRE! And I can feel it. I knew that’s why our energy connected so well.”

We spoke about what is means to be “sexy”, his story on finding “love” and marrying his current wife in the hospital, literally on the way to the operating room for heart surgery! and how distorted the idea of being “plus size” means in our culture.

Prior to making a DECISION at 52 years old to get into body building he said he used to eat junk food and not take care of his body until that one day he make a choice to change his life.

pax_beale_body_builder.jpgAt the age of 52 Pax became a body builder, entering numerous competitions stealing titles from competitor’s decades younger, including Mr. USA in 1990 at the age of 60 and Mr. Universe in 1995 at the age of 65.

He’s an entrepreneur, millionaire and body building fanatic. Pax has been referred to as the “come-back kid” rehabilitated himself after a quintuple by-pass heart surgery. Doctors said he die. He defied the odds. He proved the doctors wrong.

He told me his wife Sophie, also a body builder holds the title of Ms. America (1990), Ms. World (1995), and Ms. Universe (1998).

Beale promotes a system called “Body for The Ages,” which has become his passion and new life’s work… at 77 years old! The regime includes diet, weight resistance training, food supplements and Beale’s philosophy of “total commitment”.

But I realized there was something even more profound with this guy….
His Attitude.

He had a zest for life like you wouldn’t believe.

He loves to live.

He wants to be here in this world to encourage, inspire and lift others spirits through his message.

This is my message, too:
Attitude is everything.

Be positive. Be uplifting. Encourage others to live their fullest potential.

The only thing you can control in life is your own attitude.
So make it positive and you will see how dramatically your life will change for the better.

People will be drawn to you. You’ll become a magnet for all that is “good”.
You’ll inspire others to want to live, too.

His book is called “Body for the Ages”

Pax is an inspirational to us all.

Today I say:
Live your life to it’s highest potential.

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU WANT IN LIFE.

Seven Sexy Secrets: How to Be Hot, Sexy and Beautiful at ANY Size or Age!

hot-sexy-beautiful.gifSeven Sexy Secrets: How to Be Hot, Sexy and Beautiful at ANY Size or Age!
Most women wants to feel sexy and beautiful. No matter her age, height, weight, size or shape we want to look and feel good- period. If you are single, married or in a long term committed relationship you will find these tips helpful to look and feel hot and sexy today and everyday!

Here are the seven sexy tips:

1. Have you taken the time to apply makeup that enhances your best facial features? Even on a rushed day, it’s a good idea to represent yourself as a well-groomed woman who puts effort into her appearance. When you feel sexy and confident, the world is yours for the taking.

2. Do your clothes fit your body type, and are you feeling confident and sexy in what you are wearing? Keep in mind that sexy clothes can even be conservative, as long as you feel your best and carry yourself with poise! Accessories such as sexy heels, eye-catching belts or that perfect Little Black Dress can make your evening perfect before you even head out the door.

3. Are you all pretty in pink or . . . red?! Did you know many women are most afraid of the color that looks the best on everyone? Red! Get into the spirit of wearing bright, catchy colors. There are dozens of shades of red and pink to bring out the feminine glow of every woman, so don’t be shy about trying a few until you find one you feel sexy in.

4. Do you have on sexy underwear and a bra that makes the most of your body? Even if chances are that no one else will catch a glimpse of your under-things tonight, there is still a certain rush from knowing the silky secrets you are hiding beneath the fabric of your clothes. If you are in a relationship or involved with a special person they will be sure to love the surprise you have waiting for them underneath it all!

5. Have you treated yourself to a manicure and pedicure lately? Treat yourself to a special manicure and pedicure for this special day. Try a shade of pink to match your pink outfit or red will do the trick, too! Apply clear polish and moisturizer to your nails. If you have time (and funds), however, there are dozens of nail salons and the cost of getting a full manicure and pedicure treatment is likely less than a movie and dinner with friends.

6. Are you willing and open to new experiences in the bedroom? Keep in mind that sexy is as sexy does… we cannot encourage confidence and sexiness outside of the bedroom if we do not address it inside the bedroom. Don’t hide under the sheets or switch off the lights so fast… maybe a change is just what you need in the bedroom!

7. Have you repeated your sexy mantra to yourself daily? Do you look in the mirror and remind yourself of just how sexy you really are? Always remember to carry yourself with an air of sexy confidence. Be your own biggest fan, and others will follow. Tell yourself “I am sexy and I know it!” Know that you are sexy, desirable and interesting, and do not be afraid to remind yourself not only today but everyday!

Do Men Want Skinny Models You See in Magazines?

Nobody Wants a Bone But a Dog

What do men want?
We women think we know. They want women who look like the ones on the Silver Screen, the ones on the pages of Vogue and Cosmo, women who look like Cindy Crawford or Nicole Kidman.

What do women want?

We want to look like the women men want. We want to have perfect bodies, perfect faces. And we want to feel good about ourselves, to wear the beautiful fashions we see in those magazines, to look as beautiful outside as we think we are inside.

Ladies, women, girls, listen up: we have been deceived.

Men don’t like sticks or bones. Men like women who have some softness to their bodies, a curve or two or three. Women who don’t look like they’ll break in half in their hands. And they like strong women, both emotionally and physically.

There’s an old European saying that the bone is for the dog – the meat is for the man. That means that women with some flesh, some substance to them, are more attractive than women who are skin and bones.

Does this shock or surprise you?

Maybe it does.

Consider this: most of the fashion industry today is controlled by GAY MEN. Seriously. Now, that’s no complaint about gayness – it’s perfectly fine, and they have a unique perspective on beauty that is a true blessing to the world. But would you ask a mechanic to diagnose your liver problem?

No!

What do gay men know about female beauty and sexuality? Are you trying to get gay men to look at you and say you’re beautiful, or do you prefer straight ones?

The answer is obvious.

So why are you looking at Cosmo and runway models and high fashion when you’re trying to judge female beauty? Shouldn’t you be asking men who the supermodels ought to be?

Now here’s another bone of contention: ask most men where they see beautiful women, and they’ll say Playboy or some other “male” magazine. However, if you ask them about Marilyn Monroe (size 14, sometimes a little larger) or the beautiful women painted by artists from the time of the ancient Greeks to just the last century, most will agree that these women are at least as beautiful, and many would say even more beautiful.

Something disturbing is going on. Media images of women are growing thinner, while the average weight of American and European women is getting higher. Men are being told that these bone-thin women are the epitome of beautiful – and they’re believing it. And women who are on the plumper side of the bell curve, no matter how beautiful they are, are being told that they are ugly.

Ugly? Marilyn Monroe, ugly? Titian’s models, ugly? You and me?

We are being lied to by the fashion industry. Women of medically average size, and women who are on the larger side, are not only healthier than waifishly-thin women; they are more beautiful, sexier and enjoy life more. We are being told that fat is ugly. I’m telling you that fat is normal, and no uglier than, say, a nose. On some, it can be ugly. But on others, it’s a beautiful enhancement.

And the West is an anomaly. In Islamic countries, in India, in South America, in Africa, women of size are considered beautiful. A round belly and luxurious curves make a woman perfect, and sometimes that rounded belly or a large bottom and hips are more crucial to being sexy than large breasts. African-American men and Latinos all agree that women with generous curves are by far the best.

What is wrong with us?

Part of it is the idea of beauty as an unattainable thing. It is mostly in poorer parts of the world that beauty is seen in large women. This is the same reason that tans became fashionable in the mid-20th century, when working women were pale and you had to have money to be tanned because you didn’t have to work.

But that’s only part of it. The rest of the reason probably has more to do with the images promoted by the media than anything else. The media is always looking for the bigger, edgier, more extreme image – and in beauty, extreme is going to be very thin, very bosomy, very perfected. That’s why we have these impossibly-shaped women with ribs showing under their size-F bosoms.

There is a solution.

We must rebel. Instead of bowing to the media, instead of hiding our beauty under a bushel, we must come forward, all the beautiful large women we are. We must lay claim to our share of womanly beauty. It’s ours. We have a right to it.

We must make men stop looking at those unnatural women in magazines as female perfection, and start looking at us instead.

We must let the rest of the world know that we exist, and that we will not stand for it. There are millions who will stand with us if we do it: lovely plus-size women, women who’ve starved their bodies into submission and are just tired of it, and men who love women with curves.

If we stop being afraid, we can pull others out of the dark places and muumuus they’ve been hiding in. We can let the light of day shine on our voluptuous bodies at the beach and in our backyards, and stop being shamed by those who have no idea what they’re talking about.

It will take a movement. It will take a revolution of beauty. I think we’re all up to it. We have the energy to take on those wispy malnourished girls and feed them a sandwich or two!

Ladies, let’s bring it on.

The truth is you don’t have to be skinny to be beautiful… in fact it’s the exact opposite. Learn tips revealed from the just released book “101 Secrets to Be Sexy at ANY Size!” how you can look and feel sexy today, no matter what size you are.

Why Thin Is NOT In… 80% Men Say They LOVE Big Women!

For Immediate Release

Latest Poll Show 80% of Men Want Curvy Voluptuous Women, NOT Rail Thin Stick Models Like We Have Been Told

Why Thin is NOT inIn the wake of Madrid’s banning of models with a BMI of 18 or lower, the question has been raised again of whether fashion models are too thin. The fashion industry’s continued move towards thinner and thinner models has come under fire from several sources, mainly because of the influence it has had over young women and the rise of anorexia and bulimia.

In the last 20 years, fashion models have gone from a size 8 to a size 0 for runway models. Within the same time period, the average American woman has gone from a size 10 to a size 14. Yet, American women, according to an online poll, see the super thin stick models and feel they are unattractive and unhappy in their average or curvy bodies.

As governments are now getting involved in trying to reverse the skinny ideal, other agencies and spokespeople, like Nancy Hayssen, a former plus size model, are speaking out to women everywhere to recognize beauty in women no matter what their size.

Nancy’s website became the number one site on the internet for the term “sexy plus size model”. She has been inundated with responses from men and women all over the world praising her beauty as a plus size woman. With the constant message in the media that you can only be beautiful if you are skinny to the bone she became determined to prove otherwise. As Nancy puts it, “I’ve always been happy and proud of my voluptuous body. I wouldn’t choose to be rail thin if my life depended on it.”

There are over 8 million people in this country who are anorexic, bulimic or have eating disorders. Most of them are young women. “Young women look at these magazines showing super thin models and think they should be like them in order to be attractive. Yet contrary to popular belief that skinny is desirable, the recent poll ran show the truth that men like some meat on a woman!” says Nancy Hayssen author of “You Can Be Sexy at ANY Size!”.

According to this same recent online poll of men ages 18-51 and older, 80% of men are attracted to women that are curvy and voluptuous such as Jennifer Lopez, and an additional 15% are attracted to average bodies.

It didn’t shock her at all to learn the results from the poll that most men prefer average to curvy, large women. “Men love women that have some meat on their bones. I’ve always known this.”

Surprisingly, this leaves only 5% of men that actually find rail thin anorexic looking women like Nicole Ritchie and models we see on the runways as truly beautiful.

Even more shocking when asked the question: “Who is the sexiest woman ever?” the winning response was “my wife” beating out historic beauty Marilyn Monroe who made second place.

The average American woman is 5’4” and wears a size 14. This also happens to be roughly the size Marilyn Monroe, considered one of the most beautiful women celebrities of our time would have been today. Size 14 is considered plus size, therefore, the average American woman is plus size. This is good news for women everywhere since men are really attracted to average curvy women.

“We’re being lied to everyday. The fashion industry and Hollywood have spread the MYTH that men want skinny anorexic looking women. The truth is—it’s plus size or curvy women that are considered beautiful,” says Nancy. She now speaks out about the reality of what men really want through the internet and the radio letting the public know what the “real skinny” is.

The truth is you don’t have to be skinny to be beautiful… in fact it’s the exact opposite. Learn tips revealed from the just released book “101 Secrets to Be Sexy at ANY Size!” how you can look and feel sexy today no matter what size you are.
