7 Days to Less Stress - More Peace of Mind

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

1. Write Out Your Thoughts
Just scribble out what is bothering you or any thoughts weighing down your mind. Keep writing for 15 minutes in a journal.

2. Just Breathe
It’s amazing how a day can go by and we forget to breathe. Slow-ly breathe IN and OUT. In and Out. In and Out. You get the idea.

3. Listen to Your Body
Where is the tension in your body? Is your back tightening up? Your jaw clenched? Your body stiff all over? Your body will tell you where you need to let go. Release the tension by letting go.

4. Say a Mantra
Repeat a word you like, like “Love”. Each time you exhale for 10 minutes you’ll do away with stressful thoughts.

5. Picture Beauty
Imagine a soothing scene. The beautiful sounds, images and smell. The more beautiful and serene the picture in your mind, the more tension will dissipate.

6. Lie in Bed
Wake up just a few minutes early and lay in bed. Just be.

7. Just BE
Live in the now… it’s the only moment you got!

My Three Favorite Blogs for Personal Growth

Anjelika and Saha Kremer
Sasha is an Acupuncturist, and Anjelika practices Energy Therapy applying various intuitive techniques.

They decided to take a sabbatical and leave their established practices in NYC to explore the healing traditions of other cultures, satisfy the craving of their hearts, and be of service to others.

Anjelika transformed my life more than any other person on this planet. We worked together for 9 months while living in NY.

She is what I call a “magical fairy” — pure energy, a beautiful woman on the inside and out — who will help clear out negative emotions from your body.

You are invited to view the personal spiritual journey around the world while they help fulfill other people’s dreams:

Turning Negativity into Positivity

by Reena Daruwalla, guest writer for Nancy Hayssen.com

HALF FULL? OR HALF EMPTY?

Unpleasant, negative, unfair, bad things happen to all of us as some or other point in our lives. At times like this, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, upset, distressed and ask that perennial question, “WHY ME?!!” The fact is, it’s not just you, it’s everyone at some or other point; fact is and to coin a phrase, “SHIT HAPPENS!”

It is what you choose to do with this unwanted negativity in your life that makes the difference. Do you proclaim yourself the victim and resign yourself to your fate with whining ill grace or do you choose not to (in the words of Dylan Thomas) “go gentle into that good night” and do you “rage, rage against the dying of the light”?
