Two models pose nude in controversial photo shoot to bring to the American public the question: “What does it mean to look legal?”
Los Angeles, CA, July 27, 2010 – The state of Arizona has recently announced a new immigration law SB 1070. This act makes it a state misdemeanor crime for an alien to be in Arizona without carrying registration documents required by federal law.
Critics of the legislation say it encourages racial profiling because anyone suspected to be an illegal immigrant is allowed to be questioned and asked for proof of citizenship, while supporters say the law simply enforces existing federal law.
President Obama criticized the law stating it threatened “to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and our communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe.”
Two models inspired to open up questions about the Immigration Law, bared it all in a controversial photo shoot by wearing just the American flag.
