Jordin Sparks is the beautiful 17-year old who won the most recent “American Idol.”

Her weight, however, has become a polarizing hot button against MeMe Roth of the National Action Against Obesity, who has been receiving death threats ever since her appearance on FOX, where she claimed that Jordin Sparks is the vision of “unhealth”.

She insists her view was sensationalized but is standing by her claims that Jordin needs to drop the fluff:

“When I look at Jordin I see diabetes, I see heart disease, I see high cholesterol,” Roth said. “That’s what’s so sad about this — she is not the vision of health — she is the vision of ‘unhealth.’”

Roth elaborated with Jeanette Walls of MSNBC’s The Scoop she admires the 17-year-old singer’s talent and “effervescent personality” but, “her extra weight is a reflection of today’s society and a culture where many of our children have compromised health due to unhealthful food choices and inactivity … We have to stop with the ‘baby fat,’ ‘curvy,’ ‘goddess’ euphemisms and own this child health crisis.”

This has got to be a joke!

Jordan is one of the most beautiful so-called “plus size” actresses I’ve seen in the media lately. Her body is curvy, sexy and beautiful. She has an angelic, beautiful face… confidence and an amazing voice. And Hollywood is calling her FAT?

You got to be kidding me!
