Fat Model Shocked Fashion World Posing Nude

Plus Size Model Poses Anti-Anorexia AdLos Angeles, CA, October 8, 2008 - October marks the one-year anniversary of the provocative and controversial “Love Your Body” campaign featured on CBS Entertainment Tonight’s “The Insider.”

International Plus Size Model, Nancy Hayssen, posed totally nude for cameras and inspired women to start loving their bodies.

This revolution became an instant sensation as the ultimate antithesis to today’s media standards of “thin is in.” Proving to the world that beauty really comes in all shapes and sizes, “The Insider’s” host, Pat O’Brien, called Nancy Hayssen “plus-sized perfect and full-figured fabulous.”

The “Sexy Plus Size” movement first began in response to an anti-anorexia billboard that showed 60lbs. French model, Isabelle Caro, posing naked, her emaciated body intended to send a message to the fashion world.

In the last 20 years, fashion models have gone from a size 8 to a size 0, when the average American woman has gone from a size 10 to a size 14. However, the anti-anorexia billboard seemed to be nothing more than a frightening reiteration of the one size small fits all mentality.

Nancy Hayssen, model and author of the book, “You Can Be Sexy at Any Size or Age,” spoke out. “We’re being lied to everyday. The fashion industry and Hollywood have spread the MYTH that men want skinny anorexic looking women. The truth is—it’s plus size or curvy women that are considered beautiful.”

The “Love Your Body” campaign shocked millions of men and women worldwide as it finally gave a voice to positive self-image. From America to Africa and Australia, the “Love Your Body” campaign attracted immediate attention, as it represented and celebrated everyday women in the media spotlight. The message to embrace and love yourself as you are was heard all over the world, showing that being beautiful is universal, not unilateral.

Said to be the next “Anna Nicole Smith,” Nancy Hayssen is now helping others to feel sexy in their skin through her own experiences. “I’ve always been happy and confident of my voluptuous body,” Hayssen says. “I believe ‘sexiness’ and beauty is a state of mind. “

Nancy Hayssen will be signing autographs and giving away free copies of “You Can Be Sexy at ANY Size or Age” to the first 100 people at the 3rd annual “Love Your Body Day” on Sunday, Oct. 12th. The celebration will be held at the West Hollywood Park Auditorium in West Hollywood, CA from 12pm-4pm with celebrity host Kim Coles. 1. Nancy looks beautiful and very sexy! The girl below Nancy’s photo is so sick and unattractive. Women need to stop making themselves sick trying to look like they THINK men want them to look. While it’s true that most men aren’t attracted to massively obese women, they ARE quite attracted to women with gorgeous bodies like Nancy. I can’t think of a single guy I know who wouldn’t want Nancy. She’s gorgeous and hot.

  2. what! ok i think she is a bit too big. i am a size 10 and loving it but i dont think i will be comfortable if i were any bigger. however i think she has some balls doing what she did and i admire her for it. the world will be a better place if people werent so obsessed about their weight. it is rather sad.
