Hollywood Myths about beauty have been spread throughout the media like wildfire… brainwashing you to think a certain way!
One of them is the concept that know matter how much you weigh.. well, you’re just too fat! You’ll NEVER be skinny or beautiful ENOUGH.
Stop the insanity!
… and while you’re at it, get off the scale.
The truth is … your scale cannot determine your happiness!
According to a recent Prevention Magazine/NBC Survey, 60% of American women have dieted or are on a diet and 44% of women refuse to be photographed in a swimsuit. How is it that women have learned to hate their own bodies so much in our country?
The “ideal” appearance that Hollywood pushes is not actually ideal at all. The “best” weight or clothing size cannot be stated, because we are all built so differently. If we were all size 6’s, do you think we would all be happy? What if we were all size 2’s? Of course not!
There is no “right” or “wrong” size to be.
Just be happy with the size you are, just they way you are- right now.
The unattainable illusion of one perfect weight has been chased after long enough – now is the time to break the pattern of self-hate that Hollywood has encouraged.
Today is the day for you to make the change in your own mind and accept yourself in spite of what the scale says, or maybe even because of it. The truth is you are uniquely you, no matter what size you are.
Such a good point to make on a post! So many women don’t know that they are actually “large boned” or large framed and that they just COULDN’T be size two if there life depended on it. They shouldn’t! Even the BMI indexing that we do will tell them they are “fat” when in fact they are height weight proportionate for their frame!
